Leveling Alchemy (with what, but not how)

this is for the young alchemiests who dont know a whole lot about how to leveling alchemy effectively


method 1)
wooden gears.
20 stacks of full lauan wood gets your alot and that probly all youll need for ahile cuz youll get sick of it fast
20 stacks = 40 stacks of splits = 120 stacks of wood gears
thats close to 6000 compounds

method 2)
frogs.
i know its abit crazy but if your afk alot and still wanna train go to frogs, and go with an alt for better comboing and more items
they drop:
fish
brazil mushroom
fungus
seldomly lucid glue
all compoundable with itself. so knock yourself out (please dont try to, you need to be conscious to compound these)

method 3)
cirrus.
its much slower that the other methods but you have the chance to to make some decent money from it,
item drops:
vine
vine grass
turpentine
soft bine
cotton
the main ones you need are vine grass and turpentine
recycle the vine grass you have the chance to get straw mucuhrooms and harl grass
compound straw mushrooms and turpentine together for either a failed compound (straw mushrroms) or a successful compound (tomato juice)

there are other methods around, but these are the ones i use most
you can also try chicken farm (seeds dont work, its concidered that the second seed eats the first one even though you get a different color seed) other possibilities are south pole and kellan cave


EDIT 1: i was really bored so ill add a lil bit more information
if you got alot of stacks of materials and you want to compound them one by one but you dont know how many possible compounds there are its fairly easy, the basic formula is fallowed below (stack - 50)
stack*ammount of stacks divided by 2 ahole bunch of times add to the total ammout of compounded times, (any decimals round up)
esentially the compound is as fallowed (hurah for confusion) ammount of stacks = 50 to get total ammount of items you have - 1. yes it is that simple
so if you have 6000 items there are a total of 5999 compounds and 50 items is 49 compounds


EDIT 2: so i fianally got my jr alch a few days ago. and with the guides rafoie has posted various forums i was able to say this. the MAJORITY of you exp you get in jr alchemy will be from the first compound, so uf u want to spam level alchemy USE RANK 1 ITEMS, you will ALWAYS get exp from those compounds (rank 1 + rank 1) just make sure the item you are compounding has atleast a rank higher item as a result (rank 1 fish + rank 1 fish = rank 2-5 fish) highest compoundable fish is fugu and thats rank 8

Btw, hello everyone. i am new to this forum, i am Mert82 from the WLO forum. *_*

well, I'd also like to point out that there's several way to increase your alch lvl.
1. do not manufacture any pure/ fresh/ mineral water from sea water, you just need to compound them with mucks
2. I used to compound a lot of beast fur and pollen (I used mucks and coconuts to increase rank) to make coats until the price drops like crazy
3. do not manufacture anymore boiled water (plane fuel), use pineapple popsicle to compound them from
4. if you want a mango seeds, always compound them from mucks... it's slow but, it can lvl your alch along the way
5. if you want any copper sand, always use copper ore + mucks, even though the chance of getting them is slim (due to wide arrays of possibilities) you can still lvl your alch
6. coal for coal block (steamship fuel) can also be compounded with mucks, it's cheap and it save woods
7. I think this is an old trick, but I also used to compound alu plates from alu ores and granite

I will add more when I found out more later.... but this is a good way to use mucks... it's cheap, and expendable.... the only drawback is... you need to 'crap a lot'

(edit) PS: 8. compound that fish you get from starfish or bears to salmon, you can make a sashimi out of them only with one salmon, and can still sell them at the same price....

gah i hate alchemy..but ill try i guess lol

for the cirrus method 3, you can also compound stacks of vine grass with stacks of the turpentine and vines you get to make either soft bine or purple grasses and stuff. this can be kinda risky with the high chance of making something like grass shoes from 50 vine grass and 50 turp., but with the higher rank grass materials, you can make snow grasses and higher rank grass equips to use as materials for higher lvl compounds. might also lvl your alch better ^^

by the way, i give my apology to all those people who hate reading long paragraphs on forums.

i prefer the 1st way but i'm now lvling with panda so a get alot of bamboo and compound them

but it takes alot of time to compound them one by one though ><"

I don't think it would hurt all compounding is good as it gets you experience.

beetles horns would be fine, just recycle them first so they go to rank 1, if your going to do jr or sr alchemy, and your crazy for using black jades for compounding, sersly using rank 25 items.. i know ppl that would buy for a lot, so just spam your alch with rank 1 items, much easier and much cheaper

If you can get that then they sell well.

Me i'm using Original Rubber and all kind of mushroom that i got while i remote in jungle And i'm agree with lich for those Black Jade, better to sell them 350-400g it will be better ;P
